Accelerated Life Testing

Accelerated Testing
Accelerated testing can be done using several industry standard techniques including:
  • Arrhenius - derived from the reaction rate equation. Uses activation energy for failure mode.
  • Eyring - formulated from quantum mechanic principles, typically used for temperature acceleration.
  • TH - variation of Eyring for Temperature-Humidity
  • Inverse Power Law (IPL) - used for non thermal accelerated stresses (voltage, vibration, etc).
  • Step stress modeling
Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT)

Testing with HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Testing) and HASS (Highly Accelerated Stress Screens) techniques have revolutionized product design, reliability and time to market. Producing results in a fraction of the time and expense of traditional stress testing, HALT subjects the product to stresses at levels well beyond those expected in normal use until the product fails. HALT testing identifies weaknesses in product design and improves product reliability.

Reliability Demonstration Testing (RDT)

Percept has in-house RDT labs that can perform RDT testing using industry accepted accelerating factors. This gives you a rapid indication of how your product will perform in the field and conform to specific reliability modeling.

Project Management

Effectively managing your testing project requires in-depth expertise to define, execute, track, communicate, and document all aspects of your testing project throughout every phase of the testing.

Percept's Test Project Management Process is a proven methodology that takes the worries out of managing the test process and ensures that your products are fully tested, proven and ready to ship around the world.
