EMC Pre-Scan Product Assessment $1495.00*

Will your product pass EMC emissions for FCC or CE testing the first time? The vast majority of today's technology products fail on their first attempt, causing delays and increased cost. A quick and thorough emissions pre-scan can be a key factor in launching your product on time and within budget. It's much easier and less expensive to make changes in the early prototype phase than later in the development process.

Percept Technology Labs simplifies emissions pre-scan testing by combining the testing and reporting into one low-cost offering. Customers can mail or drop off their products for this service, and do not need to be present for the testing.

Percept Pre-scan Assessment includes:

Engineering Product Review (A Percept test engineer will inspect your product to try to identify any issues before we pre-scan)
Comprehensive EMC Emissions pre-scan (We will measure the emissions from your product and compare them to the applicable limit.)
Detailed Test Report (A test report will be provided that will describe how your product performed.)

FCC Compliance Package - $2495*

In order to sell your technology product into the world's largest economy, your product needs to pass certain regulatory requirements for the FCC. While requirements for the United States are minimal compared with many other countries, they can still be a major stumbling block to your product release plans. This testing should be started once your final design changes are made and a prototype is built.

Percept Technology Labs simplifies your product testing process by combining the testing, document preparation and regulatory submissions for sales in the United States into one low-cost offering.

The FCC Compliance Package includes:

Comprehensive Test Plan (Details the process and methods we'll employ to test your product.)
Testing for FCC Part 15 Class A or B (Testing in an FCC accredited facility to either FCC Part 15 Class A, for industrial use, or Class B for home use. Includes radiated and conducted emissions testing.) This package includes one round of testing.
Detailed Test Report (Full test report, complete with photos, descriptions and standards applied.)
Technical File (The collection of technical documents that you'll need to have on file for the FCC.)
FCC Declaration of Conformity (Official FCC document that states that your product was tested in conformance with the standards, and that your product passed.)

Percept MTBF Product Analysis - $2995*

Will your company profits be eroded by product returns and high warranty costs? One method used to predict warranty costs is Reliability Modeling. The results of the modeling produce a 'predicted' MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) for the product.

Percept uses advanced reliability software modeling along with real world data and our expertise, to predict a MTBF for your product. This will be based on the electrical parts contained in your product Bill of Material (BOM).

Percept Technology Labs takes care of the complex statistical modeling and combines product and BOM research with real world data to provide you with a more accurate prediction.

Percept MTBF Analysis Includes:

Bill Of Materials (BOM) Entry and Research: Percept will analyze your Product BOM and apply advanced reliability MTBF modeling tools.
Reliability Factors: Percept will research and determine other reliability factors that may affect your MTBF. This includes special treatment for Non-Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) components. This additional research will enhance the accuracy of the MTBF Analysis of your product.
Field Data Entry and Research: We will refine the MTBF prediction through use of any field and environmental data you provide to us.
MTBF Report: We will generate a comprehensive report that describes our findings in detail. This report will give you a detailed technical basis that will support the MTBF prediction for your product.
Test Report Consultation: A Percept Reliability Engineer will help you interpret the intricacies of the MTBF report so you understand the meaningful data, and are able to communicate effectively with your customers and within your company.

*This price is applicable to electrical technology products including most general electronics, measurement instruments, lab equipment, information technology equipment, etc. Mechanical parts are not included. Percept MTBF Analysis typically takes one week to complete from receipt of BOM and any environmental or field data. The maximum number of electrical parts from BOM is 350 components, with 70% of the components existing in Percept's current parts library. No more than 30% of the total parts requiring an individual reliability factors determination by Percept Technology Labs. The modeling technique used are either Telcordia (Bellcore) or MIL-HBDK-217 depending on type of product and other factors. Percept reserves the right to to exclude certain products from Percept Standard Services Packages.
