Achieving distinction as a product designer, project manager and key executive for leading technology companies over the past 20 years, Brian has held key management and engineering positions at Datasonix, Aspen Peripherals and StorageTek.

Brian earned a BS in Engineering Science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He has received numerous awards for his work, and holds six patents. He is active as an advisor for the Colorado Technology Incubator (CTEK) and as Technology Council Chairman for the Boulder Chamber of Commerce. Brian's commitment is reflected in the company mission — benefiting employees, clients and partners though superior test services and customer care that has laid the foundation for Percept's solid track record of success.

John J. Mozeliak, President & COO
Serving as President and COO, John directs Percept’s financial and daily operations and is responsible for empowering the engineering, technical support, customer service, sales and marketing staff to meet corporate objectives. John leverages extensive executive management experience from his years at IBM, Norrell and Interpublic, Inc.

John has served on a number of boards, including the Boulder Chamber of Commerce, University of Colorado Advisory Board for the Business College, the Information Systems Trainers, JOMY Safety Products, Inc. and the Boulder Rotary Club. In 1996, John acted as the Chairperson for the Small Business Support Council for the Boulder Chamber of Commerce and was the recipient of the Volunteer of the Year award. He has also been involved with several successful CEO/Executive mentoring groups and facilitated CEO Exchange programs in Colorado for national firms. Currently he serves on the Boulder Rotary Club board and is co-chair of the Boulder Rotary Club’s Strategic Planning Committee and New Member Integration Committee.

John holds a BS degree in Accounting and Economics from The Pennsylvania State University and has done graduate work at New York University and University of Virginia.

Michael Maldin, Director of Sales
Responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships and defining future sales strategy, Michael heads up Percept’s sales and customer care efforts.  Michael’s 23+ year background in consultative sales leadership enables him to effectively understand and meet each client’s unique requirements and assure that they receive the quality, customized testing services and consulting expertise that Percept is known for. 

Before joining the Percept team, Michael held a number of key technical sales management positions in leading enterprise records management and business hardware and software solutions providers including Ibis Consulting/ Pitney Bowes, Richard Wilcox and CCC Network Systems.  His leadership roles at these firms facilitated the development of new strategies and processes that resulted in sales growth in existing and new markets. With extensive experience in channel and direct sales organizations, Michael envisions enhancing Percept’s sales organization, growing Percept’s core business as well as entering into new markets.

Michael earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from SUNY Binghamton University in Binghamton, New York, and has completed a number of advanced sales and sales management courses from Miller Heiman and Sandler Sales Institute.
